General Pattern of Play
Mystic dominated the first part of the first half and had already scored 3 tries (1 converted), but Fairfield had gained a lot of momentum in the second part of the half and put a lot of pressure on Mystic's defense. Both teams were solid, technical, and well-disciplined overall.

Detailed Report of Incident
Mystic had been under pressure for the past 10 minutes and had committed 3 infringements in less than 5 minutes (offside at the ruck, diving / off their feet at the break-down), 2 of them in their 22. I had talked to Mystic's captain and put his team under official warning. 1 minute later, in an open play phase, Mystic #1 high-tackled the Fairfield ball-carrier. I did not hesitate and immediately issued a yellow card to Mr. Haxton. There was no further incident of high tackles during the game. I did not deem Mr Haxton's tackle a red card offense as: it happened at low speed and without aim; the Fairfield player did not suffer any injury (he stood up immediately); The difference in size between the 2 players may have been part of the issue.
