General Pattern of Play
The game had some brilliant counter attacks, but some sloppy ball carrying and passes as both teams tried to play sevens instead of 15s. Also, there were numerous infringements in rucks. Before halftime, the teams were cordial with other, until halftime when a fight broke out. After ejecting all responsible players, tempers cooled off; however, the sloppy play at breakdowns continued.

Detailed Report of Incident
As halftime emerged, the two teams got into a shoving match because one player claimed that an opponent grabbed him below the belt during a scrum. Suddenly, I saw Mike Vigliotti from Springfield, and Mr. Ruiz throw punches at each other. Both teams cleared their benches, and more shoveling happened. Then, I saw another Springfield player, Dylan Krivickas on top of a WNE player, throwing punches. After the teams had separated, I issued red cards to three players I saw throwing punches. After halftime, the teams calmed down and played an actual game of rugby.
