Weather and Field Conditions
Decent weather for November, mid 50's and with light to negligible wind.

General Pattern of Play
New Haven had the bigger athletes and used them on hard running lines. UNE fought hard but were unable to match the physicality of New Haven. A very physical and chippy game for the Developmental Cup final. New Haven controlled the match from the opening kickoff.

Detailed Report of Incident
UNE committed multiple team penalties, ranging from offsides to ruck penalties. UNE had about 5 in the first 7 minutes. I talked to the UNE captain about the number of penalties and the need for his team to be more disciplined. 2 minutes later, Richard claimed he thought the ball was out and tackled the scrum-half before the ball was out. I blew my whistle and called A.J. and the offending player over. I told A.J. the yellow card was due to lack of team discipline, Richard continued to debate his case that the ball was out.
