Decent weather for November, mid 50's and with light to negligible wind.

General Pattern of Play
New Haven had the bigger athletes and used them on hard running lines. UNE fought hard but were unable to match the physicality of New Haven. A very physical and chippy game for the Developmental Cup final. New Haven controlled the match from the opening kickoff.

Detailed Report of Incident
New Haven just punched in a try and as I walk away to set the line for the conversion, I hear a commotion coming group of bodies where the try was scored. New Haven players are saying that the UNE #5 just kicked a player in the head. I did not see the kick, but luckily I had another referee running AR for me. Jeremiah Madison was the AR on the side the try was scored and reported that he witnessed the UNE #5 strike a New Haven player in the head with his foot. I called A.J. over and the UNE #5 and told A.J. what was reported from the AR. the UNE #5 denied he kicked the player in the head, but with the AR's report, I had no choice but to give the player a red card. The player left the field without incident.
