Weather and Field Conditions
Decent weather for November, mid 50's and with light to negligible wind.

General Pattern of Play
New Haven had the bigger athletes and used them on hard running lines. UNE fought hard but were unable to match the physicality of New Haven. A very physical and chippy game for the Developmental Cup final. New Haven controlled the match from the opening kickoff.

Detailed Report of Incident
New Haven just scored a try and on the ensuing kickoff Eli went up to contest for the ball. He played the New Haven player in the air and When he did he put the New Haven Jumper in a dangerous situation. Eli was simply making an attempt on the ball and I do not believe there was any ill intent in his attempt. Given the multiple cards previously issued and the general chippiness of the match, I felt a Yellow card was warranted. If this scenario stood alone it would simply be a penalty. Eli played a great game and was one of UNE's best players on the day. The New Haven player was not hurt and popped right up after the contact. Eli accepted the ruling and left the field without incident.
