General Pattern of Play
Portland dominated. It had a superior scrum and its backs found easy running. Unfortunately, play became chippy as the game progressed.

Detailed Report of Incident
In the first half, Portland's tight-head prop was penalized twice for going to ground at the rucks. After the second, the captain was alerted to this fact. The third occasion took place late in match, about two meters from Portland's defensive try line. At the tackle, Mr. Obare went straight to ground preventing Freedom from recycling the ball quickly. For what it's worth, after the match, Mr. Obare said it was the first time he had ever received a yellow card, but he agreed that it was merited.
