Detailed Report of Incident
The home team was pressing on the 5 metre line. The visitors were retreating and the offender took a short cut to off the visitor as a tapped penalty. I considered a penalty try but I was not sure the home team would have made the try line with this movement. In general, the visitors gave up a lot of penalties for basic infractions - off side, coming into the rucks on the wrong side, scrum half at scrums but none recurring that I needed to issue yellow or red cars earlier. if they gave went on further, I would have been more generious in my use of yellow cards.
