Detailed Report of Incident
Mr Tupua had played very well up to this point. Mr Tupua had the ball and went on a surging run, requiring three tacklers to bring him down. As the tackle ended, Mr Tupua found himself on his back, with a Siena player standing over him, bending forward to ostensibly try to secure the ball. Mr Tupua then inexplicably reached up and with an open hand slapped the Siena player across the face. The tackle wasn't dangerous or particularly vigorous, and I don't believe Mr Tupua was injured as a result.

I was at a 90 degree angle to the incident, less than six feet away with an unimpeded view. Mr Tupua immediately apologised, accepted his fate and left the field with no issues.

The Siena player was obviously upset by the proceedings, and while voicing his displeasure, there was no retaliation or further issues at the point of the incident or during subsequent play.
