Weather and Field Conditions
A perfect day for rugby - sunny and cool with no breeze. The grass pitch was a little damp from recent rains but had no impact on play. Otherwise it was well-lined and marked. Temporary goal posts anchored with an exposed metal frame on the ground, but did not impact play/present any danger.

General Pattern of Play
While MCLA had some size in their pack to match FSU's, FSU had a bigger, stronger athletes in the midfield and their captain and fly half was an experienced player, effectively pulling the strings when on attack. Consequently, the bulk of FSU's scoring came through the midfield. Though undersized and overmatched, MCLA performed bravely and even exposed a sometimes disorganized FSU defense with their speed. Players got chippy and chatty at times, but the captains of both teams exhibited exceptional leadership and helped restore the match to a fair and respectful contest. Considering that the rugby programs for both schools are in their developmental stage, the coaches from both sides worked together to make sure that it was a constructive match for everyone involved.

Detailed Report of Incident
The offending player was pursuing a faster player along the touchline and grabbed the back collar of the ball carrier, whipping the player backwards.
