Weather and Field Conditions
The match was played in rainy, muddy conditions and the grass pitch was relatively narrow. Some lines were hard to distinguish due to the conditions, but otherwise the field was well-lined and marked.

General Pattern of Play
Due to the conditions and the narrow dimensions of the pitch, play was confined to a physical contest in the tight and the midfield. Both teams were evenly matched in these areas as well, though ECSU had an advantage in the scrum, so it was a closely contested match throughout. Though both sides were relatively inexperienced, they played a spirited and disciplined match.

Detailed Report of Incident
The offending player reached out with their arm and caught a ball carrier across the neck as the player was cutting back, jerking them violently sideways and down to the ground.
