HALFTIME: Cheshire-22 Madison-0

Madison certainly woke up in the second half scoring a hat-trick of trys, unfortunately Cheshire piled on another four themselves. Forward packs were evenly matched but again, the speed of the Cheshire back undid the Madison defense. I would also like to note that these were the two most well drilled sides Ive had the pleasure of refereeing. There was none of the usual cyclical fouls you sometimes see at this level, both sides were careful at the breakdown not to infringe, this made for a great game of open, flowing rugby. It was very exciting to see this kind of talent emerging from the ranks of Connecticut High School Rugby.
